It's refreshing to hear the less political side of things after so much of it lately. I want to thank a friend for sharing this with me & in turn want to share these updates with you.
These updates come to you via a bulletin from "New Life Resource Center" in La Crosse WI.
Stem Cells found in Human Fat
Ordinary human fat contains stem cells that can be quickly turned into induced pluripotent stem cells (IPS) and at a quicker pace than stem cells found in skin. The IPS cells have similar properties as embryonic stem cells but do not raise the same ethical concerns because they come from skin--and now fat cells. Researchers at Stanford School of Medicine discovered that fat-derived cells removed during liposuction can develop into other types of tissue more quickly than their skin cell counter-parts. Handheld Ultrasound: Future of the pro-life movement
New technology hailed as a stunning leap forward in modern health care may soon give pro-life advocates unheard of power to save life in the womb--in the palm of their hand. General Electric has unveiled the ultra portable and user-friendly Vscan. This ultrasound machine is about the size of a large flip phone. For pro-lifers on the front lines, the new gadget could hugely improve abortion-bound women's access to ultrasounds. These machines have been highly effective in helping mothers choose life for their baby. LifeSiteNews.com
