Join the Life Chain in La Crosse on Oct 3rd.

The La Crosse Life Chain will once again line Losey Blvd in La Crosse on October 3rd from 2:30 to 3:30. It will begin at La Crosse St., and extend down Losey Blvd as far as our participants take us. This provides a visual statement of solidarity stating that “Abortion is wrong and that the Church is opposed to the killing of unborn children”. For more information, call (608) 781-1779.

LIFE CHAIN is a peaceful and prayerful public witness of Pro-Life Americans standing for one hour praying for our nation and for an end to abortion. It is a visual statement of solidarity by the Christian community that abortion kills children and that the Church supports the sanctity of human life from the moment of conception.

And Remember we are less than a week into this years 40 Days for Life Campaign. Already there are 42 baby's saves. Go to their web-site http://40daysforlife.com/getinvolved.cfm To see how you can get involved. For daily devotions and more.

40 Days for Life is a community-based campaign that draws attention to the evil of abortion through the use of a three-point program:
* Prayer and fasting
* Constant vigil
* Community outreach

40 Days for Life takes a determined, peaceful approach to showing local communities the consequences of abortion in their own neighborhoods, for their own friends and families. It puts into action a desire to cooperate with God in the carrying out of His plan for the end of abortion in America.

Vote in Sept 14th Primary

Hello. Well, it's sure been a long time since you've heard from me here. I'd like to tell you it's because we've won the war and abortion is unheard of and illegal, but sadly that is not the case. Actually I've been busy with my newest miracle of life.
On the pro-life front there is so much going on, and I need to get back in the loop. In hopes to keep you better informed from now on I am going to be updating this blog once a week, typically Sundays. You may get a few urgent updates now and then, but most of the time I'll stick to one per week.

Now to the point of this post. This Tues Sept 14th is the Wisconsin Primary Election. I don't need to tell you how important the elections are for the pro-life movement. Please check with the Wisconsin Right to Life website http://wrtl.org/mec/ to find out who you should be voting for on Tues. If you live outside of Wisconsin, check your local Right to Life chapter.

Super Bowl Ad

If you haven't yet heard there is going to be a pro-life ad run during the Super Bowl. It is paid for by Focus on the Family & features Tim Tebow & his Mother. She explains how she had an illness during her pregnancy and the Doctors recomended that she abort the pregnancy. Well, of course she didn't follow their recomendations and she had a beautiful son who ended up winning the Heisman Trophy. And of course this is all over the news and the pro-abortion side wants the ad removed from the air.

Well, get a load of this football related Pro-life comerial from 1989. What a powerful message we still need to hear & get out there today!

The new Healthcare bill IS FOCA.

It looks like FOCA really was an Obama priority after all.

You remember FOCA. “Well, the first thing I’d do as president is, is sign the Freedom of Choice Act” — FOCA — said Barack Obama on July 17, to a roar of Planned Parenthood rally applause.

Catholics and others, in a tsunami of postcards to Washington, begged he not push FOCA. Obama clarified, saying FOCA “is not my highest legislative priority.” Health care was.

But, ahem, look at the health care bill in the Senate and see if you see what I see: On abortion, it accomplishes nearly all of what FOCA wanted.

Click the link below for the full story including warnings about FOCA vs. the Senate health bill specifics.
