Oct is Respect Life Month

Did you know that October is Respect Life Month? What can you do in the month of Oct to advocate the value of Life?? It's been a while since I've updated this blog so forgive me if this is an information overloaded message. You have lots of events to choose from here! There are a number of events going on all over. Here is a list of a few in the La Crosse area to get involved in. Also a couple of videos at the bottom to get you inspired!

- 40 Days for Life Campaign is going on now until November 6th. Please check their web site for daily prayers and reflections. click here to find them. Also check their web site to find out where you can be part of the vigil to stand in public and display your support for Life

- Rosaries at Round Hill : Second Annual
In honor of Our Blessed Mother and the month of the Rosary, The Rosary will be prayed at Round Hill every Sunday in October at 12 noon. This years intention will be for Mary's intercession in our Country's future especially with "Respect for Human Life" from conception to natural death. The Rosary will be followed by a potluck lunch, beverages and eating utensils will be provided. For additional information visit their website or call Gay Hurlburt at 715-672-4049. - Ethical Issues in Catholic Healthcare October 22: A major conference at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, featuring Fr. Tad Pacholczyk and Dr. John Haas from the National Catholic Bioethics Center, and including Mass celebrated by Bishop William Callahan. The day will focus especially on Catholic teaching on the dignity of the human person and end-of-life issues, reminding us that our pro-life commitment must pertain to life all across the spectrum.
